Petra is a professional Hungarian dancer, teacher and choreographer.
She finished her studies in 2012 as a dancer and later on in 2015 has earned her teacher's degree at the Contemporary Dance Academy.
Recently she danced in a piece called at the "Unknown Text" company as a performer and co-creator. As a dancer, she was most impressed by Klári Pataky choreographer, Péter Gemza director and Viktor Jaross-Giorgi.
Mostly she felt the completeness of the stage when she was present in a work process as a creator and a dancer, such as in Haidau, a contemporary folk dance piece and the Roadlovers duet with Ida Dora Szucs. At the Elementary Art School of the Budapest Dance School, she is teaching contemporary dance and creative dance. Petra also teaches workshops such as contemporary dance, repertoire and improvisation.
In her contemporary dance lessons, the most interesting part is how self-expression as a dance and movement can be full of emotions. How can the body create emotions and feelings in a choreography movement? ‘In the MAD project, the dance of the flyers, the airy, free movements have inspired me in the creation of the movements.’
